Henrietta Celebrates Her 7th Birthday

Today is my birthday, I am 7 years old.

This is Carol White, she is my grandma!  Well, actually my mom Checker was born at her place, that makes Carol my grandma.

Mama Betty brought me to the show at Placerville, Grandma Carol is so nice to come visit me, she hasn't gone to a show for years.  Carol named me Henrietta after her husband Henry who had the same birthday as I, March 16.

Carolyn gives me a gift!

Me and my birthday gift.

Mama Betty and Grandma Carol show off my gift, and there is my birthday card.  I want to open it.

My birthday card is cute, but I am not a cat.   I could be a cat in my next life.

Carolyn is so nice to have baked a cake for me.

I love Carolyn holding me, and she is so pretty in pink.
I have the best day in my life.   I wish to have more birthdays to come.

Sunday Show C Angora Judging at Cal State

Show C judge is Gene Gillespie of MO.   Judge Gene has been in rabbits for a long time, he had also served as ARBA district director for many years.

Judge Gene has an English Angora white doe on the table.

Judge Gene carefully examines the English Angora colored senior buck.

On the table are the English Angora first place colored senior buck on the left and the first place colored senior doe on the right.

He likes the English Angora colored senior buck so much to make him the BOV over the winner doe.

These are the three English Angora finalists for the BOB and BOSB.

The English Angora BOB goes to the white senior doe and BOSB to the colored senior buck.

French Angora young opal doe.

Can you tell the difference in the guard hair vs. wool proportion in these two French Angora does?  One is young and one is much older.

Judge Gene decides on the French BOV colored, the older gal wins, but the BOB goes to the white senior doe.  Unfortunately no photo taken when the white doe was on the table.
