Proper Chocolate Agouti Color

This is a chocolate agouti junior French Angora.

The color genetics for a chocolate agouti is
A-bbC-D-E-
The face is chocolate base with dark chocolate tips, light tan eye circles, light tan half-moon at the nose. 

Surface color is a rich chestnut, ticked with chocolate tipped hard hairs.  

It has one or more intermediate bands of tan, alternating with light chocolate, with a dove gray undercolor. 

The tummy wool is light tan or white. 

The underside of the tail is light tan or white, same color as the tummy.  

 

Carol Goes to Grand Ole Opry

 

It would be a huge mistake if one goes to Nashville but not attending a Grand Ole Opry show.  

At the last night in Nashville, Carol and hubby Jim went to the Grand Ole Opry.

Though there was no big name star on a weekday evening, the performers were still very good.

Beautiful Calendar Rabbit Art: Rabbit and the Moon

Wells Fargo Bank produces an Asian calendar each year.  2023 is the Year of the Rabbit, this is front page of the calendar, a rabbit looking at the different shapes of the moon.  There is an old Chinese poem that includes a passage "月有陰晴圓缺" that translate into:  The moon dims or shines, and it waxes and wanes again and again. The different shapes of moon symbolize the life’s ups and downs, happiness and sorrow.

Country singers are sometimes called Cowboys and Cowgirls.  Cows in the middle of Nashville?  Nope, these are sculptures across from the Music City convention center.

Nashville is known as the Music City, there are other type of music than country music.  Nashville Symphony has a beautiful facility; this is the fountain in front of the building.
