Angora Judging at Gridley

In the CRCS triple shows at Gridley, the Angora breeds were split into four judges. 
The photos here do not necessary represent the order of the judging.

Open Top Winners at Gridley

California Rabbit and Cavy Shows hold triple all breed shows at Gridley, CA on January 13, 2018.

In show A, judge Cathy awards Best In Show to the Havana owned by Alan who is not in the show room.

Judge Cathy's Reserve In Show pick is Louis's English Spot.
In show B, the same Havana wins Best In Show again from judge Mary.

And the same English Spot shown by Louis wins the Reserve In Show from judge Mary in show B.
In show C, judge Melinda picks the same English Spot shown by Louis as the Best In Show.

The same Havana wins Reserve In Show in show C from judge Melinda.

Angora Group at the CRCS Frozen Friends Show in Oregon


While the CA Angora group people were showing at Dixon, CA, California Rabbit and Cavy Shows held triple shows at St. Helens, Oregon on January 6, 2018.   The name of the show was "Frozen Friends"; such weather would be great for Angora garments.

In this photo, Karen's French Angora doe won BOB and Alexandra's buck won BOSB, judge is Melinda.

Arianne's Satin Angora won BOB in all three shows, and this show was judged by judge Josh.


Karen's French Angora went on to win a Reserve In Show from judge Roger.


After the successful showing, the Angora gals had a "Girls Night Out".

Celebrating Casey's Birthday at Dixon

Today is Casey's birthday.  Happy Birthday, Casey.  Carolyn made a delicious cake to have an early celebration.

Angora Activities at Dixon through Carolyn's Lens

Left to right are Jill with her French Angora doe, Betty with her English Angora buck, Amanda with her French Angora buck and Casey with her Satin Angora doe.

Jill's French Angora doe Firebold won an all breed Best In Show that day.


Betty's English Angora Brighton is a frequent winner at shows, he also was the Best Opposite Sex of Breed at the ARBA convention in Indy.

Jill is serious in getting Firebolt into the perfect condition for Best In Show competition.

Amanda does a great job in keeping Bordeaux in shape.
