Mama and daughter are having so much fun at the rabbit show, both of their rabbits are big winners at Watsonville.

 

Melissa's Mini Satin is the winner of open Reserve In Show in show A.

 

 Lena's Himalayan is the winner of youth Best In Show in show A.



 

Judge Scott Likes Fawn

 

 

 

Judge Scott R. of CO judges French Angora, HGF Jim is on the table.  


 

Judge Scott R. was a youth English Angora breeder over 20 years ago.   In the ARBA convention in 1988 at Madison, Wisconsin., his white doe won BOV in open and his colored doe won BOB in youth.    Though he is now a top Holland Lop breeder and the president of the National Holland Lop club, he still likes to visit English Angora whenever he gets a chance.   His favorite is fawn, he looks at Betty's fawn buck and says, "A fawn English, I love fawn, he is beautiful".

Youth Top Winners at Watsonville

 

 

California Rabbit and Cavy Shows held double youth shows at Watsonville on Sunday, July 14, 2013.

 

 

In show A, judge Scott R. from CO awards the youth Best In Show to Lena's Himalayan.

Show A youth Reserve In Show goes to Gordon's Silver Fox.  Judge Scott R. comments that this is the first time he had ever award a top honor to a Silver Fox.   This is probably the first time a Silver Fox winning a Reserve In Show in the N. CA shows.

 

In youth show B, judge Kevin from AZ awards the Best In Show to the Mini Lop shown by Nicholas and the Reserve In Show to the Satin shown by Natalie.

Judge Julie Visits Betty

It has been quite a while since Julie and Betty visited each other.  Julie is not a rabbit judge, she is a human judge at the CA Superior Court.  

Judge Julie is surprised to find out that Betty now has a few French Angoras.  In her arms is one of Meara's babies.
