Isabella has Babies

Carol's French Angora doe Isabella has been doing well in shows.  This photo was taken at the Dixon show in January 2022 when she was a junior, around 5 months old.   She won over the senior doe and took BOB.

Isabella quickly reached the grand champion status but still stay in shows for a while.   In late summer, Carol arranged her date with a handsome gent and a month later, she was ready to be a mom.

One of Isabella's new born babies.   With a colored back and a pink tummy, it's an agouti pattern baby.

Looks like a chocolate agouti.

A blue?

A chocolate and black?

These are a bit hard to identify.

A nice variety of colors.

Deva Comes Back with a Gorgeous Coat

Deva is coming back with a very nice show coat after being cut down around April/May.

Deva has won many big shows, the biggest win was the Best In Show in show C at the WCC event in Reno in April.

Will Deva repeat her big wins again?  Reno is a good omen for Deva, will Casey bring her?   Stay tuned.

Angora Yarns

I have been productive in the fiber department: Look at these four skeins of dyed English Angora yarns.

For dyed yarns, it's better to dry them in the shade.   Though the dyed yarns are color fast, they tend to be affected by strong sunlight.

Here is a close up shot of the dyed yarns.

I also spun up some art yarn plied with different cords.

Growing Up Too Fast

In May, the two brothers Bao Bao and Bei Bei both sat in the love box and still there are space left.

In October Bao Bao goes into the love box and there's no space left for Bei Bei.  Why are they growing up so fast?  I miss the babies.

Hats Hats and Hats

There isn't much shows or rabbit activities going on in the Northern California area recently.  A quiet time before the ARBA convention at Reno at the end of the month.    Playing with fiber stuff.  Here are three natural colored hats plus one in progress.

I also completed six hats using English Angora tort yarn combined with dyed green and dyed fuchsia English Angora yarn.   All are my handi work!  I am planning on making some other color combinations soon.   If interested, will make these hats available at convention and local shows.

Holly is 10 months old, her coat is dense and free fall.

Holly also has a nice solid body under all her wool.
