Big Boy Jim is a Hit

Big Boy Jim goes to the Lodi show.

Big Boy Jim wins his class but not a big winner in the breed.  He is, however, a big winner of the sweetie contest; holding him is like holding a big sweet baby.    Betty and Lindsay are both enjoying his company.

Checking In and Out at the ARBA Conventiion in Harrisburg

The exterior of the PA Farm Show Complex.

This decoration is the first thing one sees when entering the PA Farm Show Complex; Heritage Halls are the main location of the convention.
To the right of the canon and flower decoration are the registration booths.   There are young ladies working as volunteers in the booths.

Betty checks in on Thursday Oct. 18, the young ladies at the booth say, "OMG, IT'S BETTY CHU, can we have a picture taken with you?"  Betty is delighted to say yes.

The same booths on a different date, it's Wednesday, Oct. 23.  After almost a week of showing and socializing, people are ready to go home.  It's 6 am, the lines are formed to get the check out package.

Look at the faces in the line, all are tired and ready to leave.

The 2013 ARBA convention has completed successfully.

Stacy and Joey plus Preston

One of the fun things going to the convention is to see old friends and see the progression of their lives.   judge Stacy went from single to married to carrying her baby to having Preston in tow at the conventions.   It's easy to see how time flies when one looks at the kids.

On the grooming stand is their American Fuzzy Lop solid senior buck.
