California State Convention Sunday Top Winners at Fresno

California State Convention on Sunday has two shows, show B and show C.

Show B Best In Show judge is Michael Perez of Lakewood, CA.  Best In Show rabbit is a Mini Satin shown by Bonnie and Megan Achin. 

Show B Reserve In Show goes to Betty Chu's English Angora. 

Show C Best In Show judge is Danielle Lowe of Indiana.   The Best In Show rabbit is Betty Chu's English Angora.

 

Show C Reserve In Show is Linda Bell's Havana.

California State Convention Saturday Top Winners at Fresno

California Rabbit and Cavy Convention is held on two days on Saturday March 9 and Sunday March 10,  with three open shows.  The location this year is Fresno, CA.

Saturday has one open show, show A.  Judging Best In Show is Jeff Hardin from North Carolina.
Best In Show rabbit is the Florida White shown by the mother and daughter team Jennier Milburn and Ashley Garza Sweeny.  

 

Reserve In Show in show A is Theresa Gorman's New Zealand.

Raelynne Wins Her 7th Open Best In Show at Fresno

Raelynne enjoys her day out in the yard but she loves going to shows.   On Sunday, March 10, Mama Betty takes Raelynne to the California State Convention double shows at Fresno.  

Raelynne wins Best In Show from judge Danielle Lowe of Indiana.  This is Raelynne's 7th open Best In Show in 3-1/2 months since she started showing at the Thanksgiving show at the end November 2023.  

Raelynne also wins the Reserve In Show from judge Michael Perez from Southern California.   This is Raelynn's 3rd Reserve In Show in addition to the 7 open Best In Show wins. 

 

Showroom Scenes at Fresno

California State Convention is held at Fresno County Fairgrounds on Saturday and Sunday, March 9 and March 10, 2024.

There are three shows held in two days, show A on Saturday,  show B and show C on Sunday.  Saturday has quite a few specialty shows and lots of youth contests and activities while Sunday holds all breed shows.    The wool breeds were not represented on Saturday, the Angoras show up on Sunday.

The showroom is quite crowded with exhibitors, the judging tables are set up in the middle.

We can see the French and English Angoras are set up at the right side.
