Found On The Net: A Photo of an English Angora in 1945

Betty says,

Some years ago there was a photo of an English Angora and a pair mitten for sale on eBay.  I was very tempted to bid for it but eventually I did not.

The photo was an English Angora that won Best of Breed in 1945 and it was registered.  I wonder if ARBA still has the record of registration number 5033C.   The rabbit is not as short and round as the good English Angora today but it sure is a beauty considering that the photo was taken almost 67 years ago.

Is That Alvin Again?

Alvin comes to visit Betty again just prior to her trip to Oregon.

Alvin gets busted, he is fenced in.

Did Alvin follow Betty to Oregon?  Nope, it's Reggie who looks like Alvin's mirror image.

Here is Reggie with his mom.

Scenes and People at CA State Convention

The convention was very well attended; this is a part of the show room.

More scenes in the show room.  There is another room for cavies and another building for youth activities.

Jersey Wooly breeder Amber is holding a junior English Angora.

Jennifer is in charge of the youth activities at the other building; she takes a break and visits the rabbit show room with her new English Bulldog.

Kate attends a rabbit show for the first time, she is interested in spinning and raising Angora goats and rabbits.

Betty's yarns could be very colorful; here are some of the skeins that she made.
