Carol W. Loves Her French Angora Girls

Carol W. has not had bunnies born at her home for years until last November when Betty and her did a co-production and had the bunnies born at her place.

These are still bunnies, if you could call 4-1/4-month-old 8+ pound big girls as bunnies.  They take after their big daddy HGF Jim who is a gentle big boy.    Though they are still juniors by age but they are bumped into the senior class as allowed by the Standard of Perfection.

Domino the broken black received the BOB award and was the Reserve to Reserve In Show in show B, Honey Bunny the fawn won BOB in show A and show C.

Carol W. obviously is very happy with her big girls.

Betty's English Angora girls have a wonderful day at the Rabbit Producer of Santa Clara Valley show at Hollister.    In the triple shows, Chu's Franchesca wins one all breed Best In Show and one Reserve In Show and Chu's Ida wins another all breed Best In Show.    The above three cases are the prizes.

Judge Drew from Michigan is the featured judged of the day, he judges show A Best In Show and pretty little Franchesca gets her first Best In Show.  Franchesca is a chocolate tort.

In Show B, Betty's white doe Chu's Ida receives the award of Best In Show from judge Joe, the ARBA district 2 director.   This is also Ida's first all breed Best In Show.

In show C, judge Justin awards the Reserve In Show to Franchesca.

This is Franchesca's second weekend out to all breed shows, she has already accumulated one Best In Show and two Reserve In Show.   Ida has been in shows for a while, she has a Reserve In Show in January; she has been taking BOV to McKenzie in most of the shows.

It has been a very rewarding day for Betty and her pretty English Angora girls.

St. Patrick's Day Celebration at Hollister

Rabbit Producers of Santa Clara Valley holds the St. Patrick's Day show at Hollister on March 15, 2014.  The club is very much into theme celebrations.  Eleven judges, one registrar and all the show committee personnel all sport green attires.  The hats and aprons are provided by the show committee.  In the photo, 10 out of 11 judges are included.  Missing is Chris Z.

There are theme name tags and gifts on each judge's table.  Allen get a banana plus other goodies.

Randy gets a pear and more.

Chris Z's gift is hidden in the shamrock towel.

Carol get a green flower and more.

Drew flew in from Michigan, going from winter to summer; Hollister is in the 80-degree temperature in the afternoon.

Melissa does the river dance.

Justin gets a lot of candies.

Joe reaches a pot of gold.

Scott teaches and preaches.

Mysteriously missing in Betty's camera are photos of Linda's and Ray's humorous name tags and goodies.
