This is Carol's chocolate senior doe that shared BOB with another doe during the WCC weekend.   Carol spent most time with her American Fuzzy Lops that won big, did not have the chance of taking photos of her French Angora being judged and won.

WCC Showroom Scenes

Showroom set up is different from previous years.  In the previous years the judging tables were in the middle while this year the judging tables are next to the walls.

The area next to the gate used to be the most favorite spot for the wool breeds but this year this spot is kinda sparse.  There were a good number of French Angora but not many other breeds of Angora.

Father and son Nate and Parker Burbidge enjoy a pleasant and successful weekend together.

Bao Bao and Bei Bei Celebrate First Birthday

One year old!!!

Teresa posted this picture on her Facebook on May 12, 2022.  These two kittens were found by a grounds keeper at the Merced County Fairgounds that day.   Teresa is the CEO of Merced County Fairgrounds, she took in the boys to find them a home.

The two boys came home with me on May 13, 2022.   I named them Bao Bao and Bei Bei, Precious Treasures.

Bao Bao weighed 16.1 ounces and Bei Bei weighed 15.9 ounces.  I could easily lift them up!

They were two tiny little guys.

They had kitten blue eyes.  All kittens are born with blue eyes until they turn 8-10 weeks old to get their adult eye color.   Their weight and eye color indicated that Bao Bao and Bei Bei were about 4 weeks on May 13, 2022.

Bao Bao and Bei Bei now have golden eyes.

Each weighs 14 pounds.

Bao Bao and Bei Bei celebrate their birthday in mid April, one year old in 2023.   With a combined weight of 28 pounds, I no longer can lift them up, I am not even able to pose them well for a photo.  If you notice, I am wearing the same sweatshirt as 11 month ago, sitting at the same chair (see the claw marks!).  You can get a comparasion of what a difference 11 months made.

Bao Bao sniffs the cake, does he like it?
