Show B judge Chris has an apprentice Ryan from AZ working with her.  

Judge Chris is observing Ryan's handling of the white English Angora. 

Ryan is working on his judge's license.  He is originally from IN but currently lives in AZ.

Judge Chris and Ryan are working on the colored English Angora.

Waiting for the judge are the French Angora colored senior does.

Judge Allan starts with English Angora, there are a table full of English Angora. 

Casey writes for judge Allan.

Judge Allan is examining a white English Angora junior. 

Judge Allan loves the white English Angora, he thinks they are soft enough to be his pillow.

The English Angora colored senior doe is even more impressive than the white, she gets the nod as the Best of Breed.

Judge Allan is now examining a white French Angora.

The French Angora colored senior doe gets the Best of Breed honor from judge Allan.

Sleeping Judge?

We are used to hearing people saying that our Angora are like a fluffy pillow.   Is our judge falling asleep on this "fluffy pillow" ?   We'll learn more tomorrow.

Calista is more interested in getting attention than being groomed.

Mini Rex Wins Double Best In Show at Monterey

California Rabbit and Cavy Shows hold double all breed shows at Monterey CA on Sunday July 22, 2018.

Judge Chris Z picked Dae and Ryan's Mini Rex as the Best In Show in show A.

In show B, judge Josh picks the same Mini Rex as the Best In Show.  

Dae and Ryan drove a long way from AZ, this is for sure a worthwhile trip for them.
