Color of the Year 2014

The website Pantone is known for setting color trends.   It recently announced that the "Color of the Year 2014" is Radiant Orchid.
Parade Magazine called this color "Fuchsia", Wall Street Journal called this color a "New Pink" and some others called it pink purple, magenta, ...

Whatever is called, Betty tries to match the color by dyeing her Angora yarn.

What do you think?
Betty used Easter egg dye, she put in pink drops and magenta drops to get some variegated effect of pinkish purple or purplish pink.
