Rabbits occupy an important space in Japanese culture.  Here is photo of Japanese bunny doll collection found on internet.   It seems like a wedding party with the groom and the bride at the top with the bestmen and bridesmaids.   Or maybe a royal couple with their court?   

 

Paper White Bulb

Carolyn has a vase with pretty Paperwhite flowers.   

Paperwhite flowers grow from the bulbs.  They are a type of narcissus. 

If you look at the vase, the roots are visible.   A friend gifted Carolyn the bulbs last year. 

Paperwhite flowers and a white rabbit figurine make a beautiful table decoration.

 

Oldies but Goodies

Henrietta will be 6 years old in mid March.   She is still healthy and active.

She has a very easy care coat, without much grooming, the coat stays untangled. She loves the outdoor fresh air, enjoy playing in the yard.

Just 3 months younger than Henrietta, Uptown Girl also keeps a very active life.

A bit less than a year ago, Uptown Girl gave birth to a litter of four does.  All four are now grown to beautiful young ladies.

Joanna the Miss Chewy

Hi, I am Joanna, Susanna is my dear sister.

You may notice that my coat is shorter than my sister's coat.

I have very busy teeth, mama Betty said I needed braces to tie down my teeth so that I won't chew my own coat.

Mama sometimes calls me Miss Chewy, I think I am still pretty with a trimmed coat.

Susanna maintains her beautiful show coat even though there isn't any show.

Susanna has an excellent texture that is easy care.

She also has a gentle personality that takes grooming well.

We are all waiting patiently for the shows to return.

 

Aabel Gets a Hair Cut

Aabel is a handsome buck, sweet and gorgeous.   He has done well in shows winning Best In Show and Reserve In Show, over lots of pretty does.  If there were normal years, he would've been even a bigger winner.    Normal is not what we experience in the last 10 months.   With very few shows during that period of time and no show for at least next few months, it does not seen to be logical to keep his show coat. so ....

English Angora has very tiny body but with big coat.  After the wool is cut, the body is really small.

Aabel not only has a tiny body but also compact and round, as perfect as it could be.
