Youth Activities at Vallejo



There are youth contests held in conjunction with the rabbit shows at Vallejo.



Stephany is a judge at the youth contest.  She has a few English Angora juniors entered in the show and her friends help to put the rabbits on the table.  


Another judge for youth contest is Abigail Polasik.  




There are photos of various breeds of rabbits and cavies on the table for breed ID contest.

Sweet Isabella Wants Attention



Carol grooms her French Angora opal doe Isabella.



Isabella says, "I love you, mom".



I love you back, Isabella.



Isn't she a sweetie?

Isabella goes on to win the Best In Show in show B.

Show B French and Satin Angora Judging at Vallejo

Amy received this Satin Angora from her husband who won it in the raffle at the ARBA convention at Reno.

Show B English Angora Judging at Vallejo





Show B Angora judge is Uno Kivi, English Angora is scheduled before the French Angora.  
Judging starts after lunch break.

Leslie and Stephanie Visit at Vallejo



Leslie Tucker is a retired rabbit judge, we had her judging our Angoras regularly in the past.   It's great to see her visiting the show, she says, "Visiting the rabbit show was kind of like coming home".

It’s Casey’s Birthday!




Today is Casey's birthday, we had an early mini celebration at Vallejo.



A mini celebration, a mini cake.  



Cake is mini but the happiness with friends and family is huge.

Three Generations of Angora Lovers






Casey with son Cole and granddaughter Isaura.



Isaura comes with Casey early in the morning, her daddy Cole comes to visit during the lunch break.  



Isaura grooms her English Angora.  This was the same scene when Cole was her age.  Cole started attending shows with Casey when he was 5 years old, Isaura is now 10.



Isaura knows how to use the blower too, she is a great helper at home as well as in the show.




Betty has known Cole since he was 5 years old, hard to comprehend how time flies, now his daughter is 10 years old.
