People Magazine Website Does A Write Up on Rabbit Fever

Our blog has featured the full length film Rabbit Fever a few times. Director Amy Do is getting more recognition on the internet. On April 8, 2010, a long write-up about her and Rabbit Fever appeared on the Peoplepets website. The picture shown here appeared with the article; it was taken at Betty's barn in September 2009. The litter of bunnies are currently in the show circuit; their names are: Chu's Chase, Chu's Chester, Chu's Annie, Chu's Shiloh, Chu's Ava and Chu's Nala. Most of them are already Grand Champions.

Amy has some interesting comments about rabbit shows:

"There were these big, hairy men with equally hairy rabbits," Do tells PEOPLEPets.com. "Some were beautiful, exotic varieties, others were as big as small dogs. "

"It was subculture shock; there are some obsessive people in the rabbit hobby."

We certainly know what she's talking about.

Where Are Your Teeth?

Gary and Phyllis had their little Silk Terrier Charlie with them in the show at Stockton.

Charlie had his little tongue out all the time. Gary and Phyllis explained that his teeth on one side all went bad and had to be pulled. Now there isn't any tooth on the left side to contain his tongue.

Charlie is not an oldie, only 5 years old.

That'll teach all boys and girls and animals how important it is to brush teeth everyday!

Creative Yarn

Nic is a new spinner who has been experimenting with various fibers. One of her favorite fibers is kid mohair from Allen. After trying English Angora wool, she now considers Angora wool one of her favorite fibers as well.

Nic says,

" Attached are some pics of my first attempt with your angora. It's a blend of merino, kid mohair, hand dyed silk, angelina and a fat handful of bunny fur! I plied it with nylon thread strung with opalescent beads, which the picture doesn't show.

The angora is luscious!!!
