Parallel Sleeping

You mean you don't like parallel parking?  We sure like parallel sleeping.

Nicki: What? You are looking at Mary Jane and me?  You are disturbing our parallel sleeping.

Non-parallel sleeping is still good.

Where is Logan?

Chu's Logan is a handsome English Angora buck that won the colored junior buck class in the ARBA convention at Wichita in November 2012 and earned his first leg.   After the convention, he won 31 legs as the Best Opposite Sex of Breed in English Angora over a period of 6 months and accumulated 32 legs.

All good things have to come to an end; after winning the BOS in the Angora National and the four other shows at Reno, his show career is taking a hiatus.    It's hard to imagine how little an English Angora is under the big coat.   Here is a naked Logan next to his big fleece.

Allen is grooming Dreamsicle....

Allen is grooming Dreamsicle.....

Allen is still grooming Dreamsicle, he has been grooming Dreamsicle for over 3 weeks since she left her papa Eric's place.

Oh, No, did I take too much wool off Dreamsicle?

Dreamsicle tells Allen that she appreciates it.

Allen replies, "Dreamsicle I love you too but you will have to go back to you papa Eric".

Live Crow? Dead Crow?

Kathi the Polish Princess belongs to a trio of ladies who call themselves "The Old Crows".   As a humor, Kathi puts a stuffed crow on her cart.

The stuffed crow is attached to the cart with a black ziptie, sometimes it's upside down.   Is the crow sleeping upside down or dead?

Real Animals vs. Fake Animals

The WCC event must be a real big event to have hired a fake rabbit to visit the showroom.

Why would a rabbit event have a skunk head and a fake wolf hanging around?

Nope, the WCC rabbit event did not hire a fake rabbit to be a mascot.   The fake rabbit, the fake wolf, the skunk head, plus a whole lot of people in fake animal costumes are having a convention - a convention for those who like to wear animals costumes!

In one ballroom there are thousands of real rabbits, in another ballroom on the same floor at Reno, there are many fake animals dancing and having photos taken.

Real animals and fake animals, which one do you prefer?

Michelle Visits from Singapore

Michelle lives in Singapore, she spends her vacation time in rabbit events.  This year she decided to visit the WCC event at Reno.

In the picture with Michelle is Betty's English Angora tort senior doe Chu's Macey, a multi-Best In Show winner.   She is the Best of Breed in all five shows at WCC including the Angora National, and she is also the Reserve In Show winner of the Angora National.

Betty sure is surprised to meet someone who speaks Mandarin in a rabbit show, Michelle indicates that Mandarin is the first official language in Singapore and the second official language is English.

Allen is going to officiate a rabbit event in Singapore this coming week; Michelle and Allen will be seeing each other again.
