Convention Bound

Betty says,

"The ARBA convention in Minneapolis is starting today. Many breeders including me are taking the trip to the convention. Human have to endure the stress of travelling, rabbits have to go through even more stress. They are usually put in smaller than normal carriers for flying or driving.

Flying is faster but the rabbits would have to endure the dark cargo hold and small space inside a kennel; driving is more normal for the rabbits but it's a 30+ hour drive from California.

Another rabbit breeder sent me this photo of a rabbit that has been molded by a small carrier, the caption says:

This is humorous and to the point.

I will be in Minneapolis for five days. I am taking my very small and very slow netbook computer with me, it is not a sure thing that I could post and upload photos to this blog. I will do my best."

Brandy's First Scarf

Brandy in Utah is a fairly new English Angora breeder; she took the plunge to learn to spin and knit. She is very excited that she completed her first scarf, wishes to share the photos. The scarf is 74" long and 5" wide. soft and fluffy. She will enjoy it very much during the cold Utah winter.

The top photo was taken earlier at the Utah State Fair with registrar Nate and best friend Kathy.

2010 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants

Bunnies celebrate the San Francisco Giants winning the World Series.

Little Girl Big Aspiration

In N. CA, many judges obtained their ARBA licenses at a very young age. Cases in point are Brooke, Ashely, Keelyn and Justin; they all received their licenses during their teens. Justin is the youngest of all, only 18 years old but have been judging for a year. He still shows in youth but judges both open and youth shows.

It is not surprising that the youth in this area are aspired to work for the ARBA judge's license. Siana is one of the young ladies who is not shy to let others know of her desire. She wears an apron announcing her goal in shows.

Siana is pictured here with her mother Jill and her English Angora buck. Jill made the "Future ARBA Judge" apron for Siana.
