Angora National Wool Skein and Garment Contest at WCC /Reno

Angoras are multi purpose animals, one of the most important function is to produce wool, and the wool can be made into many different products.    At the Angora National, there is the Wool Skein and Garment (WSG) contest.

A display of beautiful items in competition.

With so many beautiful Angora wool creations, this shawl goes to the top winning the Best In Show at the WSG contest at the Angora National.

In addition to the items in competition, there are also products in display and available for sale.

Angora National is the most important show among the 6 shows during the WCC/Reno weekend.  We will post photos and reports of the other shows during the long 3-day weekend.

 

Angora National Best In Show Judging at WCC/Reno

These are the 4 Angora BOBs competing for the Angora National Best In Show, the coops are too small for them but luckily they are just staying for a very short time.

We apologize for the limited photos of French Angora and Giant Angora judging.  Angoras were on more than one table at the same time.  It was difficult to cover all the activities on different tables at the same time.
