While Sunny Boy and Honey Boy are making splashes, Kenneth is slowly but steadily make progress in his development.

Though his wool is not as long and full as Sunny Boy and Honey Boy, he always gets good comments from the judges for his excellent body type.    He holds place in shows and achieves the Grand Champion status.

Dawn's New Fiber Supply

Ever since our fiber arts guild moved, it's been hard to find good alpaca to spin at a reasonable price.  I have solved that problem.  :)  Here are my solution: Blaze at the front and Shakota at the back.

Lena Wins Youth Best In Show at Monterey Fair

 

 

 

 

 

During the youth show at the Monterey Fair, Lena's Himalayan wins the Best In Show in show A.  She received a big rosette, a carrying cage and a green chair.   Of all the prizes, Lena's favorite is the chair that is now displaying in the living room at home.

Lena did not show in show B, Mary W.'s Mini Rex that won Reserve In Show in show A wins Best In Show in Show B.

Blessing of Animals



We saw that Roxie and Brad Pit are hanging out at the pet cemetery, John is holding the leashes.

Roxie on the left and Brad Pit on the right are two very lucky dogs.  They were wandering the streets when Maureen and John caught them.   Maureen and John have been trying to find homes for them but Maureen and John's home is pretty much the home for the two lucky dogs.


Roxie and Brad are best friends for the day, they are hanging out at the pet cemetery!  Why would any dogs and human want to hang out at a pet cemetery?  Stay tuned.







 

Pete, Lori, Pearl and Chloe Have Good Time at Monterey Fair

When Pete and Lori visited Betty a couple of weeks ago, Pearl was in the computer camp; this time at Monterey Fair the entire family show up together.

Ray Eyes a Clydesdale

Ray is waiting for the rabbits to be brought to the judging table and a guy walks by with his beautiful Clydesdale horse.   Ray goes over to chat.
 

The kids are fascinated by the big horse.

 

The horse owner is very nice to answer all sorts of questions.

 

It's a beautiful horse.
