Jessica is Queen of CA State Conventiion

Jessica started raising rabbits when she was 10 years old, and decided from the start to specialize in Dutch. She became a registrar in 2011. She started competing in Royalty contests in 2009 when she was 15 years old. She was first runner up at Cal State in 2009. She was the 2010 and 2011 Cal State Queen and was honored to win the title again this year. Jessica is now 18 years old and a senior in high school. She has been accepted to CSU Fresno, CSU Chico, CSU Cal Poly and is now waiting to hear from UC Davis. She plans to major in Animal Science with a minor in communications.

Zeeva Sleeps and Waits

On Sunday at the CA State Convention, English Angora judging was done around noon while the Best In Show judging was hours away.  Zeeva sleeps soundly on Betty's lap waiting to go on the Best In Show table.

After waiting for over four hours, Zeeva along with other Best of Breed winners got on the table.  Judge Scott R. did the honor of picking top winners.

The patience paid off, show D judge Scott R. awarded Zeeva the Reserve In Show prize.

Youth Top Winners At the CA State Convention

Eli's Holland Lop won youth Best In Show three times in show A, B on Saturday and D on Sunday.

Taylor's Dutch won youth Best In Show in show C on Sunday.

Youth Reserve In Show in show A is a Polish own by Audrey but Audrey was not in the showroom; her best friend showed the Polish for her.

In show B on Saturday, Savannah's Havana won youth Reserve In Show.

Greyson's Havana won youth Reserve In Show in show C on Sunday.

Britney's Satin won youth Reserve In Show in show D on Sunday but she was not able to attend the show.  Her mother and sister Riley are in the picture with judge Scott R.

CA State Convention Top Winners on Sunday

In show C on Sunday, judge Allen B. from So. CA picks Ashley's Florida White Best In Show and Jennifer's Dwarf Hotot Reserve In Show.   Jennifer and Ashley are mother-daughter judges.  This is certainly a family affair.

In show D on Sunday, judge Scott R. picks the otter Netherland Dwarf Best In Show.  Kevin and Coleman's Netherland Dwarf won Reserve In Show in show B on Saturday.

CA State Convention Open Show Top Winners on Saturday

At the CA state convention show A, judge Doug King picks Julie's chocolate Havana Best In Show and Tami's French Lop Reserve In Show.

In CA state convention show B, judge Eric picks Betty's English Angora Best In Show and the Reserve In Show goes to Kevin and Coleman's otter Netherland Dwarf.

Zeeva Wins All Breed Best In Show at CA State Convention

Chu's Zeeva is having very good showing in the first two months of 2012.

At the CA State Convention show B, judge Eric selects Betty's fawn doe Chu's Zeeva all Breed Best In Show.
