Long and Fun Trip for Tammy and Arianne

From Washington, Tammy arrives at the showroom on Friday, look at the space that she's saving for the wool people, she is a saint!

Dinner on Friday night at Appleby's, from left to right are Kevin, Carol, Rachel, Corinne, Cathy, Arianne and Matt.  Tammy is behind the camera again.

On Sunday, Tammy and Arianne visit In-N-Out Burger.   We take In-N-Out for granted but out of state visitors consider In-N-Out a must-visit spot in California.

Kevin says, "Don't you girls had enough fun, can we go home now?"

Top Winners at the BAARG Angora Specialty Shows

On Saturday, Matt's English Angora wins the specialty Best In Show.   Judge Kevin is shown here with the white senior doe, Matt arrived in the late afternoon while the show was completed in the morning.

In the specialty show on Sunday, judge Allan awards the specialty Best In Show to Betty's French Angora.

Open Top Winners at Cal State Convention on Sunday

 

 

 

California State Rabbit and Cavy Association holds their two day convention at Turlock on March 3-4, 2018.   The photos here are from Sunday, March 4, 2018.

 

 

 

The first show is designated show C, a continuation of the shows on Saturday.  Show C Best In Show judge Melinda Anderson awards the Best In Show to the New Zealand shown by Randy and Jonathan.   Neither Randy nor Jonathan is in the showroom, in their place is Louis.

 

Reserve In Show in show C goes to Alan R's Havana.
 

 

 

In show D, judge David Cardinal picks Jeanette's Netherland Dwarf as the Best In Show.

There is an interesting "connection" between David and Jeanette: David's New Zealand was the Best In Show winner in the 2016 ARBA convention and Jeanette's Netherland Dwarf was the Best In Show winner in the 2017 ARBA convention.

HGF Santeria Wins 5 Best In Show and Best of the Best in GA

 

 

 

It was a big show weekend March 3-4, 2018 at Dalton, GA.  There are three open all breed shows and two Angora specialty shows.  The winner takes all Best In Show is French Angora white senior doe HGF Santeria bred and shown by Eric and Gabe.

There is a Best of the Best among all the Best in Show winners; needles too say Santeria is the hands down Best of the Best!!!

In January 2006, Holly had a beautiful litter of English Angora.  

 

Blizzard is one of Holly's favorites.
 

Blizzard has won a lot of shows.





After a year or so, Blizzard was adopted by Doug and Patricia as their only pet.  Here is Doug and Blizzard playing Blues Brothers.

 

Patricia reports, "We wanted to share good news with you--that Blizzard did celebrate his 12th birthday on January 25th."    

It's a record!!!
