Uno Kivi of CA is the show B judge to pick Best In Show.

There are two tables housing the BOB rabbits.   Best In Show judging from the other table.

Judge Uno handles the BOB English Angora.

Best In Show is the New Zealand.

Reserve In Show is a Californian.

Show A Best In Show is being judged by Alan Ormond of Utah.

The two Angoras are on the left side in their own judging coops.

Best In Show goes to a Netherland Dwaf.  

 

The Reserve In Show is a Himalayan.

Jordan is an Accomplished Young Man

We saw this photo of Jordan Miner, Kathi Groves, Arie and Betty yesterday. 

 

Somehow Betty's sweat-shirt was noticed.  Jordan is calling attention by pointing to Betty's shirt.  
Nope, Betty is NOT pregnant!  It's the year of 1997 that's in question.  This is a ARBA convention shirt from Madison Wi in 1997.

Guess what, Jordan is one year younger than Betty's sweat-shirt!   

Jordan is very accomplished at this young age, he has the rabbit and cavy judge's licenses, he has received his bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley, he is currently in the master's program at University of San Francisco and very near completion.  

 

Arie Works for Her Cavy License

Jordan Miner, Kathi Groves on the left both have rabbit and cavy judges' licenses.   Arie from Indonesia stayed in the US for several months worked to obtain her rabbit judge's license several years ago.  She became the first ARBA judge in Asia, exhibitors in Asia all call her Madam Arie.   Now Arie is back in the US to work on her cavy judge's license.   You got to admire her for her work ethics and perseverance.  

I am vey honored to call Arie a friend.

Arie has already passed the written and oral examination for her cavy license.  She is now working on her assists.   At Turlock, she is working under Diana Mortensen of Oregon.

Teresa Visits at Turlock

Teresa and hubby Christopher come to Turlock show to visit in the afternoon when we completed the breed judging and waiting for the Best In Show judging.  Teresa is the CEO of the Merced Fairgrounds.   She feels so bad that the BVRA at Merced venue had to be cancelled.   The FEMA and Red Cross operated flood evacuation and recovery center is staying longer than originally planned at the Merced Fairgrounds. As a result, several activities that were planned at the Merced Fairgrounds had to be cancelled to accommodate the operation.     It's very kind of Teresa to come by to see how things work out for us.

Teresa has a visit with Maura who is waiting to be judged at the Best In Show table.

Both Teresa and Maura have a great time.
