Sunday Top Winners at Red Bluff




California Rabbit and Cavy Shows holds double open shows at Red Bluff on Sunday, December 15, 2019.




The first show on Sunday is called show C, Best In Show goes to a broken New Zealand shown by Randy and Randy (not shown in the photo).  Best In Show judge is Chris Hayhow of OH.



Show C Reserve In Show goes to the Californian shown by Randy and Jonathan (not shown in the photo).



The second show on Sunday is considered show D, Mike Mageles from ME is the Best In Show judge.  His choice of Best In Show is the Californian shown by Randy and Jonathan.   A different Randy stands in for Randy Shumaker.     The Reserve In Show is Alan's Havana, a different one from the Best In Show winner on Saturday.

Friday Night Show at Red Bluff




California Rabbit and Cavy Shows hold a 3-day long show weekend, starts on Friday night with a single open show and a judges' conference.



Judge Allan Ormond from UT is the Best In Show judge on Friday night, the Californian shown by Randy and Jonathan (not in the picture) is the Best In Show winner.   


The Reserve In Show goes to an English Lop.


At one corner of the building the judges' conference is going on, managed by Allen and Kate. 



The speaker in the front is Nate from Utah.



The speaker is Carol talking about American Fuzzy Lop.



One important thing to remember is never to put your hand to cover the head of the American Fuzzy Lop, there are 40 points on the head.



The agouti and chin bands are discussed.
There are many more speakers but unfortunately photos are not available.


At another corner of the building, potluck is going on.   Lots of good food to enjoy.

Carol's American Fuzzy Lops Win Double Reserve In Show



On Saturday in the first CRCS show in Red Bluff, judge Kevin awards the Reserve In Show to the American Fuzzy Lop to the partnership of Carol, Nate and Stuart.   



Same day in the second show, judge Josh awards the Reserve In Show to a different American Fuzzy Lop shown by Carol, Nate and Stuart, from left to right.

Jennifer's French Angora Wins All Breed Best In Show



Keep-It-Hopping RBA holds their double all breed shows on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at  
Chino, CA



Judge Adam Schuller from ID awards the Best In Show to Jennifer's French Angora colored senior doe Julia.   


This is Jennifer's first Best In Show with a French Angora.  Jennifer was a major breeder of Beveren but she fell in love with French Angora and switched breed.    Look at the Best In Show prize, isn't it cute and useful?



Jennifer also did very well at the convention.   Her French Angora broken junior doe was the first place winner.  

Jennifer and partner had a booth at the ARBA convention at Reno in October.  The merchandise are beautiful, she can custom make any graphics onto the cups, t-shirts, aprons, cards, ...

Pattee Gets a New Breed




Pattee got a Giant Angora in April, got a bit hooked.   She went to rabbit shows and got an English Angora, loved it even more.   Then she got 2 Lionheads in the convention.    At Hollister, Pattee gets a trio of American Fuzzy Lop from Carol.   Pattee is having lot of fun!

Doug Gets An Award




Our show B judge Doug King shows off an award!



Doug is the top Mini Rex breeder in the nation, wins big in major shows.  His Mini Rex doe won the BOB at the 2019 convention and went on to win the Group.   He also is a major worker at the national Mini Rex club.  For his service, he was awarded the President's Award this year.
