I am Alfie, I think I am the best looking one.  Judges agree, they picked me at shows.

I am Albus, don't forget that I got picked way before my brothers, when we were just itsy bitsy little ones.

In a human world during the old days, three sons carrying on the family name is great....

In the animal world, do we need that many sons?   

 

Autumn Delight has a Delightful Summer Cut

 

No matter how nice the coat is, all good things have an end.   With summer comes with the high temperatures.   It's time for Autumn Delight to have a hair cut. 

A bit of cut at the nape, it's a cut of no return.

The cut area expands.

The wool-fall is shaping up.

Which one is bigger? Autumn Delight in his summer cut or the beautiful coat he has just given up?

 

Autumn Delight Has a Great Show Season

Autumn Delight is a handsome buck.

He was born on the lunar calender Mid Autumn Festival day last year, thus named Autumn Delight.

In May, Autumn Delight attended the big show weekend at Reno during the WCC and Angora National.
This photo was taken at the grooming area.

Autumn Delight won the English Angora BOSB at the Angora National Show at Reno. 

Autumn Delight also won the Best In Show in the "War of the Wools" show over 126 wool breed rabbits including English Angora, French Angora, Giant Angora, Satin Angora, American Fuzzy Lop, Jersey Wooly and Lionhead.

Autumn Delight has quite an impressive show career, but ......  stay tune for tomorrow.... 

Peaches and Kitties

The Magee farm has the best peaches.   There were yellow peaches available for sale at the Monterey show.   It's hard to resist such delicious fresh fruit.

Kitty Bao Bao approves the purchase of the peaches.

Brother Bei Bei joins Bao Bao to investigate the fresh smell of peaches.

Of course we know that cats love boxes more than what's in the box.

 

Still the smell of fresh peaches is treasured by both human and kitties.

Bao Bao says that he is not a " PRODUCE OF U.S.A." but a "PRODUCT OF U.S.A."

 

Show C Best In Show Judging at Monterey

The last show of the day is show C, Jordan Miner judges the Best In Show.

Reserve In Show is the Britannia Petite shown by Randy Shumaker and Maddie Pratt.

Carol Green's rabbit gets Best In Show again, except it is her American Fuzzy Lop instead of  her French Angora.   Carol says that this is the first time her two breeds each wins a Best In Show on the same day.   After 28 years in raising and showing rabbits, it's unusual to experience something happens for the first time.
