Beautiful Roses in the Spring

Before we go into the Best In Show judging of the two last all breed shows at San Jose, we will treat our eyes of some beautiful early roses in the spring.

 

NCAG Specialty Show at San Jose

Northern California Angora Guild specialty show judge is Lauralee Erbe.

On the table is the BOB English Angora colored senior doe.

Another look at the English Angora BOB.

BOB Satin Angora colored senior doe.

Another look at the BOB Satin Angora.

The French Angora BOB is also a colored senior doe.

Judge Lauralee takes another look at the French Angora BOB while Caorl holds on to the English Angora BOB to prevent her from falling off the table.  

Judge Lauralee awards the specialty Best In Show to the French Angora and specialty Reserve In Show to the Satin Angora.

Sunday Show E Angora Judging at San Jose

Show E is the last of the five all breed shows of the weekend.  Judge for Angoras is Michael Perez who flew in from Long Beach, CA.  On the table are the Satin Angoras.

Carol and Carolyn put all the French Angoras in their coops waiting for judge Michael to work on them.

The BOB French Angora is the colored senior doe.

Judge Michael is now working on the English Angora.

Sunday Show D Satin Angora Judging at San Jose

The next breed on the table is the Satin Angora.  Judge Kevin and assist Bart having a discussion.

Casey watches the Satin Angora judging and Mrs. Bart video-types the judging process.

The Satin Angora white senior doe is very nice but the BOB goes to the colored senior doe.

Sunday Show D English Angora Judging at San Jose

Show D judge for Angoras is Kevin Stanford of AZ.  Bart from Thailand works his second assist with judge Kevin.

Judge Kathi Groves has been instrumental in helping the rabbit people in Asia to be involved in ARBA activities.  Many of the potential candidates for the ARBA judges license all received her help to host, to transport, to arrange ... to make their dream come true.

While judge Kevin is demonstrating the skill of judging English Angora, judge Kathi helps to clerk.

Happy Hoppy Easter 2026

Micro Girl wonders if she is an Easter Bunny.

Autumn Beauty does not think she is an Easter Bunny.

Autumn Delight knows for sure he is not an Easter Bunny.

Who are the Easter Bunnies?  We are.  If you wish to have an Easter Bunny or more than one Easter Bunny, head to the stores to get one of us.  We don't eat, we don't poop, we don't pee, and we are very calm.  You can hug us, play with us, or you can store us in a bin, we won't complain!
