Casey reports:

"Casey's Drake Milligan Grand Champion Satin Angora buck heading to ARBA convention without me.

Drake's storey started at the Reno ARBA convention 2 years ago when Becky Hammond, a fellow Satin Angora breeder, fell in love with Casey's Deva, my beautiful Red doe. I told her that when I had babies from her I would save one for her.

January 2023 Deva had 5 beautiful babies. That began a long chat between Becky and I . She is so excited to have a baby.   One problem Becky lives in Alaska. How to get him to her? She decided to go to the 2023 ARBA convention in Kentucky to meet him and help Tammy with the Chestnut Giant presentation. I found that Arian Dworzecki was doing transportation from my area so a date was made.

I made up a travel box for him with food, water, snacks and a cage lock for Drake's travel  and stay in Kentucky. I also sent a cage that Drake approved.

Arian had help from Mike Portlock on the trip and they made excellent time. Left Sacramento 7:30 in the evening Oct 4th with Drake and many bunny friends and  arrived Oct 6th by 11:30. Posting information all the way.

Becky is on the way from Alaska and will meet Drake. She is super excited.

It was hard not to go with Drake and send him off on his own but he is in great hands.

 

You never know, maybe he will win BIS ha ha.The big show is Sunday Oct 8th."

Without shows for a while, it's time for Franky to get a haircut.

Little Girl Camellia Hopes for Show Presence

Camellia is the youngest of the mama Betty's white English Angora born this year.  

With older cousins in shows, Camellia has not been seen much.

She is patiently waiting for her chance.

 

When shows come back in the late fall, she hopes for her chance in shows.

 

Pretty in Red and Pink

Casey would like to share the pretty image of the red Pomegranate on her tree.

The Pink Lady is blooming in Casey's yard too.

Did you know that the Pink Lady is also called the Naked Lady?  When the flowers bloom, all the green foliage dies, thus the flowers are called the Nake Ladies.  

 

Bode Gets a Haircut

Betty is not the only one who is busy cutting, Casey is doing the same!

Making Fun Folding Cards

Some of the drug stores have very good photo department and off and on offer great deals.

Whenever a deal is offered, I'd learn to use their tool to make photos, cards or posters.

This is a card made from photos of my two white kittens.   Bao Bao and Bei Bei were adopted in May 2022, I took quite a bit of their photos, even wished that I had taken more.  Baby kittens are so cute but they grow up so fast.

Before I realized it, Bao Bao and Bei Bei are full grown big boys.  The right lower corner is a photo of their "teen" time but the other three photos are full grown cats.   Where does the time go?
