Casey's Satin Angora Madeline Has Babies

After a long hiatus due to fire, repairs, reconstruction, ... Casey finally has some new babies.   Madeline the Satin Angora gives mama Casey the best clue of her pregnancy.


 

 

Madeline gives birth, 5 Satin Angora babies in the nicely made nest.

Three black, one chocolate and a REW, a nice combination of colors.

Happy St Patrick’s Day 2021

We are the green piggies for St. Patrick's Day, who wants to join us to celebrate?

Happy 6th Birthday Henrietta

It's Henrietta's 6th birthday today.  She is an oldie but goodie.

  Mama Betty gives Henrietta a big hug.

In general French Angora's life span seems to be not as long as the English Angora.  A 6-year-old doe is almost ancient.   

Henrietta is still active and lively.

Henrietta got her name from Carol White who suggested that she be named after Henry, Carol White's hubby who had the March 16 birthday.   

Henrietta has outlived all her littermates and even her daughter.   She is enjoying her long life.

 

Susanna Enjoys the Breeze

It's a nice day in California.  Sunshine but not too hot and not too cold.   It's a good day for Susanne to come out of her condo.

It's a nice weather day, little breeze blowing.

Susanna enjoys the breeze blowing into her wool.

It's a perfect weather for a photo op.

Susanna's full show coat is in mint condition but all shows in California has been cancelled.   We'll just have to be patient and wait, wait and wait.    

 

Very Old Pictures

The photo is black and white, got to be an old picture.   It's Betty more than 50 years ago.  

I always love rabbits, as you can see.   No real rabbit, an inflated plastic rabbit filled the need.
