Bear visted Cyndie's place

Board member Cyndie Lenz sent me an e-mail. There were excitement at her place.

A black bear visited her yard, got very close to her rabbit barn. Luckily the fish and game people came with tranquilizer guns. The bear was caught and transported in a van. Here is a photo. Cyndie is happy to report that the bear is roaming some place in the mountain instead of her yard.

NCAG Activities

Northern California Angora Guild has been in existence since 1982. This is the first on line spot we have created. I hope this will help increase the communication of our members and result in more member participation of our activities.

We have had a good time showing and having a potluck lunch at Carol Green's house in Portola Valley. Our winners of the day are: BOB and BIS English Angora by Betty Chu, BOB French Angora by Carol White and BOB Satin Angora by Tracy Rios. The results were the same in both shows.

Here are photos of our two judges hard at work and the Best In Show rabbit Chu's Ashka, an English Angora white senior doe.

Our judges are Brian Hartzell from Ohio and Ray Stacy from CA. It was a very hot day, some changed into swim wear and cool off in the pool. Brian certainly attracted a lot of attention by doing so. He probably should be awarded the overall Best In Show.

Our next NCAG shows will be in Orland on 9/10/05, in Stockton on 9/17/05 and in Watsonville on 10/1/05.
