Orange Wool, Orange Flowers

A cloud of dyed dreamy orange Angora wool. 

Bright orange color, wish we could get dyed wool as intense as this.

This is an achievable orange color in dyeing wool.

If adding some red wool into the orange wool, the yarn should look like this beautiful rose.

This is a beautiful orange too.

We are the Quin Siblings

Here we are, 5 of us, we are quintuplets.  We are 2 days old, 3 torts and 2 chocolate tort.

Husky Dog Yarn

Maureen sent in a photo of a skein of her handspun yarn, kind of pinkish/purplish.   She did a good job in creating it.  Is it dyed?   English Angora? French Angora? Which breed?   Nope, ...  

It's from a Husky dog!     She recently groomed a red Husky that was blowing his coat.    She hasn't spun dog hair in a long time but the fiber was very inviting.  Short staple and somewhat harsh, 49 yards.

Is It Hot Enough?

French Angora Growing Up

We are the French Angora boys and girls, we love each other.

I am Indigo Girl, I am the one on the right of the baby photo.

I am Chocolate Dream, I am the second from the right in the baby photo.

I am George, I am not sure whether I am the second or the third from the left, my brother Chuck looks just like me.   My opal sister Moonlight Minuet on the very left and fawn brother Beethoven in the middle are with Carolyn in San Jose and Chuck is with Jennifer in So. Ca.    

Ellington's Sister Elsia

I am Elsia, I am a grown lady now.

I think I am prettier than my brother Ellington, do you agree?

 

If you remember, I won BOB at Carol's summer show.

I am very sweet, not as shy as my brother Ellington.

I am humble though, there are lots of pretty girl out there.  Flower Girl is very pretty and Fawndella is very pretty.   I like them.

This is me with my brother Elfredo and sister Elsia.   Mom is a little unfair, she took a lot of pictures of Flower Girl and Fawndella but she does not take many pictures of us.   We were really young here but we are now all grown up.
