I Am a Big Girl Now

I love this bed, it's too big for me.

I still love this bed but it seems it's getting smaller.

I am in a show, first time!  Mama tells me that I will be going to shows almost every week.

Best In Show Judging at Auburn

The Best In Show judging at Auburn was traditional, one judge for show A and another judge for show B.  Though there were quite a few judges in the show, the two Best In Show judges both happen to be judges for the four breeds of Angora.

Tracy is the Best In Show judge for show A.

The French Angora BOB is being examined.

The English Angora BOB is on the Best In Show table.  She got an honorable mention of being the top 3.

Judge Cole from MN is the show B Best In Show judge.

Show B Angora Judging at Auburn

Judge Cole from MN is the show B Angora judge, working on the white English Angora.

This little one is so nice.

It'll be a nice show bunny when mature.

Maturity makes the difference, the English Angora colored senior doe is the one.

On the table are the Satin Angora.

Nice little white Satin Angora juniors.

The colored Satin Angora has denser color than the other three breeds of Angora.

Showroom Scenes at Auburn

Happy rabbit exhibitors are setting up at the Gold Country Fairgrounds.

Angoras waiting for their turn to be judged, and people chit chatting.

The judges are in the middle, on the left Tracy is judging the Giant Angora and on the right Allen is judging the Holland Lop.

The show is substantial smaller than the California State Convention two weeks ago but happy vibes are the same.

Fun Old Picture

Carolyn Silva found this old photo from the 1800s on the internet.    Looking at the equipment, there's not much change since then.   The spinning wheel looks like some of the spinning wheel that we use, the bottom table on the left looks exactly like the TV trays that we use as grooming tables.   The rabbits look like the Giant Angora.   Though no change in rabbit stuffs, the human fashion and style has changed quite a bit.
