Our wonderful newsletter editor shares her new fiber project with us, she says, "I knit this scarf (Fickle Fingers Scarf by Gayle Roehm) for my sister. The yarn is sugarcane, which has loads of drape, just like angora, but is nowhere near as light or warm."
Kathy adds, "I couldn't figure out why I was attracted to the colors, two different colorways which I alternated. Pastels don't usually catch my eye, but there was something comforting about these.
Then it hit me. They're the colors of Smarties!
Smart and sweet. Just like my sister."

Santa Rosa Open Show Top Winners
The first show in 2011 in No. CA was held in Santa Rosa sponsored by Sonoma Marin Rabbit Association. The show was huge with 20 judges and lots and lots of rabbits. There are double open and double youth shows plus a long list of specialty shows. The open big winners are Melissa with her Mini Satin and Casey with her English Angora.
Melissa's Mini Satin took Best In Show in show A; the Reserve In Show is a Californian, photo not available.
