Emilia Wins Her 12th All Breed Best In Show

Lots of people, plenty of greasy food and very loud noises from the stubborn pigs in the next barn. It's a day at the fair. Warm but fun.

Judge Brooke has not been too active in the shows lately, we are so happy to see her. She is a wonderful judge and very pleasant to interact with. We really enjoy her company today. Just wish she will come to shows more often.

Emilia wins her 12th all breed Best In Show. Her coat is entering the 16th month, still in prime. Carol G.'s American Fuzzy Lop solid senior doe is the Reserve In Show. From left to right is Betty, Carol G., and judge Brooke.

Sharon and Her Bunny

Sharon has been raising English Angora for quite a while, probably over 10 years. We don't see her in the shows very often, however.

Recently she has started coming to shows with her new litter. It's great to have new blood on the show table. Sharon is a school teacher who has a very busy schedule. Now that school is almost out, we hope to see Sharon more frequently in shows.

Mercedes Is A mom

Chu's Mercedes has been very successful on the show table. During her show career in 2005, she won all breed Best In Show 9 times and Reserve In Show twice.

After she retired from the show table, she took a short rest, then fell in love with Chu's Gentry, a choc tort Grand Champion buck. She successfully gave birth in early May to five beautiful bunnies, now 3 weeks old, healthy and bouncy.

Mercedes has been successful as a top show rabbit and now an excellent mother.

Tracy's Pretty Satin Angora and French Angora

Two new photos from Tracy. We have seen the bunnies photos of these rabbits, now they are grown and ready to go on to the show table.

At the top, we see the beautiful red Satin Angora sisters in their shiny coat.

The second picture is French Angora white buck who has already made quite a few splashes on the show table.

Happy Faces at Bakersfield

Christine sent in two photos taken at Bakersfield.

On the top, in the back is Christine, in the front from left to right in the front is Betty and Tambria.

Both Christine and Tambria are Holland Lop breeders. Tambria is the daughter of our district director Joe. Christine is a registrar on her way to become a judge. She and judge Chris Z have a partnership that produces some of the very top Holland Lops. One of their juniors won the Best of Breed over 1,000 other Holland Lops in the ARBA convention in Indianapolis last October.

The second picture is Allen, our handsome registrar and KW Cage Rep. Allen writes the Registrar's Column for the Domestic Rabbits. He has won the registrar's contest for two years in a row.

Dick's Special Chair

We saw Dick at Bakersfield. He was having fun with his special chair. It warns others to keep off because it's for licensed ARBA judges only.

Well, if we ever want to sit in that chair, we'd have to go through all the requirement of being a judge first.

We know Dick is just having fun, he is one of the nicest person around.
