Rita's Satin Wins Double Best In Show

Judge Cathy picks a white Satin Best In Show in show A. From left to right, happy papa Larry, happy mama Rita and judge Cathy.

Judge Cathy awards the show A Reserve In Show to Danielle's Jersey Wooly.

In show B, judge Leslie awards the Best In Show honor to Rita's white Satin and the Reserve In Show to Betty's English Angora.

Rita is usually busy at the secretary's table in most shows. It was unusual to see her relaxing and showing in Chico. Her beautiful white Satin won open Best In Show in both show A and B.

Show A Reserve In Show went to Danielle's white Jersey Wooly. Danielle is a youth, however, because two different clubs sponsored the open and youth shows, Danielle was able to show the same entries in both open and youth. The same rabbit won Best In Show in youth show B.

Show B Reserve In Show went to Betty's white English Angora Chu's Susie. Susie is also the Best of Breed winner at the ARBA national convention in San Diego.

Both judges Cathy and Leslie singled out four rabbits as top contenders for Best In Show in show A and show B. Their top picks were exactly the same: English Angora, Jersey Wooly, Netherland Dwarf and Satin. Both picked the Satin as Best In Show but had different picks on Reserve In Show.
