Rabbit Producers of Santa Clara Valley Prizes and Raffles

 
 
This table contains the prizes that all exhibitors would like to own at the end of the day.  The 6 black crows are the Best In Show prizes for 3 open shows and 3 youth shows; the 6 crow plates are the Reserve In Show prizes for the 3 open shows and 3 youth shows.  The white "Grand Crow" prize is for the Best of the 6 Best In Show winner.  

Betty's English Angora ended up winning 2 black crow, 1 crow plate and the "Grand Crow". 
 

Dera is in charge of the raffle table.  She is showing off the Angora mittens that keep her very warm on a cold day.
 

RPSCV is well known for having a nice raffle table.  
 



It's still early in the morning but people are starting to scout the table for the items that they would like to win.

Mary's Mini Rex Wins the Jackpot Prize

 
 
In each RPSCV show, the club puts on a "Jackpot" competition.  Exhibitors can pick one of their rabbits and pay $5 to go for the winner-takes-all prize of $100.   There were 33 rabbits on the table to be judged by judge Chris Z.   Mary's Mini Rex is the winner of the sort-after $100 bill.

The same rabbit went on to win two youth Best In Show and a youth Reserve In Show. 

It's Mary's lucky day!!!

In the Rabbit Producers of Santa Clara Valley youth shows, show A judge is Randy who picks Jessica's Holland Lop as the youth Best In Show and Mary's Mini Rex as the youth Reserve In Show.


In youth show B, judge Cathy picks Mary's Mini Rex as the youth Best In Show.
 
Show B youth Reserve In Show goes to Levi's Havana.

 


In youth show C, judge Scott awards the youth Best In Show to Mary's Mini Rex and the youth Reserve In Show to the Dutch.

Open Top Winners at Hollister

 
 
 
 Rabbit Producers of Santa Clara Valley holds triple open and triple youth shows on December 7, 2013.   





In show A, judge Jeremy from Michigan awards the Best In Show to Chris Z's Holland Lop and the Reserve In Show to Betty's English Angora.



 In show B, judge Doug awards the Best In Show to Betty's English Angora and the Reserve In Show to Dolores's Satin.  The Satin has a special meaning to Dolores as this is an offspring of her late husband Mike's Best In Show winning doe Bar-B-Q.
 


In show C, judge Scott R. from WY selects Betty's English Angora as the Best In Show and Chris Z's Holland Lop as the Reserve In Show.

McKenzie Wins Double All Breed Best In Show and Best of Best

 
 
McKenzie is now over 10 months old, her coat is getting even better than at the convention.


At the Rabbit Producers of Santa Clara Valley triple show, McKenzie wins Best In Show in show B from judge Doug.

In show C, judge Scott from WY also awards Best In Show to McKenzie.
 

There are three open shows and three youth shows, the Best In Show in these shows are eligible to compete for the Best of the Best In Show.   Judge Carol G. awards the Best of Best In Show to McKenzie.
