NCAG Show 2 English Angora Judging at WCC



NCAG show 2 judge is Josh Humphries of TN.


  On the table is an English Angora white senior buck.



This is the second place white senior doe.  



Jonathan Herbert is learning about English Angora from judge Josh who is explaining why this white senior doe is the BOV.  Betty and Carolyn watch.



After the BOV and BOSV white are selected, Jonathan gets the chance to look at the remaining colored English Angora.  Casey is watching from far.

NCAG Show 1 French Angora and Satin Angora Judging at WCC





Judge Maddie examines a colored French Angora senior doe.  



French Angora is the only Angora breed that has lots of juniors being shown.



We will be seeing lots of French Angora in the near future.   Juniors are hopeful.

NCAG Show 1 English Angora Judging at WCC



There are four shows on Saturday, April 9, 2022 for the Angoras.   It was a very fun day but also very stressful due to so many shows going on at the same time.  We'll start with the NCAG show 1 in the morning.
 

On Saturday morning, all the WCC judges gathered at the banner for a photo op.



The first show on Saturday morning is our NCAG show #1 by Maddie Pratt of MI.



There are 19 English Angoras being shown.  



White is always the first to be on the table.  



White senior buck class winner. 



White senior doe is usually very impressive.  



This is the second place white senior doe.

Meat Makers Match Show at WCC





There is a Meat Makers competition at WCC.   Do the rabbits have to turn into a dish for the competition?  




The answer is no.  The winner is alive and well.   The winner is Abigail Polasik's Californian.

Dwarf Pappillon National Show at WCC




The Dwarf Pappillon is the newest breed in the ARBA Standard of Perfection.   The first breed national was held on Saturday April 9, 2022 in conjunction with WCC at Reno.




Here are the winner and the proud Papa and Mama Randy Shumaker and Maddie Pratt.  They are also the breed developer and creator who successfully introduced/presented the breed into the ARBA Standard of Perfection.

American Fuzzy Lop National Show at WCC

 


American Fuzzy Lop holds their breed national in conjunction with WCC at Reno.   



The Green-Burb team win the BOB and BOSB at the national show.  




Seven wool breeds compete in the War of the Wools Show.  




Green-Burb Radio who won the breed national also wins the BIS at the War of the Wools show.
