BEW and VM Holland Lop
Bunny in the pocket, how cute can it be? What is the breed? |
It's a BEW (blue eye white) Holland Lop! The most common color in Holland Lop that we see on the show table is tort, we don't even see agouti pattern Holland Lop often, and BEW is almost never seen in shows. This is Debbie's pet Holland Lop, she does not show it. Isn't it cute? |
Are these lop-eared Dutch rabbits? No, these are VM Holland Lops. BEW requires two Vienna gene. In the process of breeding for BEW, there are bunnies with one copy of Vienna gene and these bunnies have Dutch-like appearance. The name for this marking is called VM for Vienna Marking. |
