Austin's Wonderful Day

Carol's French Angora buck BCG's Austin wins BISS in show B.

Austin also wins BISS in show C.

Austin has a great time winning but his best time is not just winning, he loves ...

... to meet his lady friend Fleur...

... then having a good time with Fleur...

... then gets to chase a naked Claudina...

... more chasing...

... and catches up with Claudina...

... having fun with Claudina...

Austin considers this as the best day of his life.

Carolyn's Photography

Guess who is visiting? Charlie!!!   We have not seen him for two years.
Charlie had a car accident that took him quite a while to recover.  It's so nice to see him as good as new.

Happy Angora people: Betty, Matt, Jill and Aaron.

Casey is showing off her new (old) breed: Satin Angora.
Casey had Satin Angora some 20 years ago but did not continue.  English Angora is always her first breed but the recent progress in Satin Angora got her interested again.   She got a pair from Sandra and the pair has produced a very nice litter of 6.   She is showing off her new breed.

The above photos were taken by Carolyn, thanks, Carolyn.

NCAG Show C Judging at Portola Valley

Show C judge is Bryan Shirk from Utah.  Bryan is originally from Michigan but recently moved to Utah.

Bryan has all the French Angora chestnut seniors on the table.

The French Angora chestnut seniors look so much alike, ...

because they are all relatives, either siblings or cousins, ... they are all from the same family.

Bryan will have to make a decision on these French Angora that are almost the same, his final choice is the colored senior buck.

Bryan likes Casey's Satin Angora juniors.

Bryan than has the English Angora colored senior does on the table.

The show C specialty Best In Show is Carol's French Angora colored senior buck BCG's Austin.

NCAG show B judge is Maddie Pratt from Michigan.

Judge Maddie is checking the body of the English Angora.
She is comparing the English Angora BOV white and BOV colored to decide on the BOB and her choice for the BOB is Betty's colored senior doe.

In the Satin Angora breed, judge Maddie picks Casey's colored junior doe as the BOB.

Hope writes for judge Maddie.   Hope flies in from Utah to hang out with her friends; Maddie and Hope did a lot of tourist things before the backyard shows.

Judge Maddie is working on the French Angora colored senior doe class.

The winner of the colored senior doe class is a different broken chestnut doe from show A.

Judge Maddie is carefully examining the French Angora on her table.   Next to the Angora table, judge Nate is working on the youth American Fuzzy Lop.

The first breed on the table is the Satin Angora.  Casey's little junior doe wins the BOB from judge Nate Burbidge from Utah.

Judge Nate has a full table of French Angora in front of him.

Two pretty French Angora broken chestnut senior does at the first and second place slots.  At the current time, French Angora is the only Angora breed that accepts the broken pattern that was passed in the 1993 ARBA convention in WA, it is shown in the colored variety.

The broken doe on the left is the BOB winner.

After an extreme heat wave, the temperature goes down by 20 degrees on Saturday, June 24.  What a welcome change.    Under trees at Carol's backyard, carriers are on the stands or on the lawn, people and bunnies are enjoying a lazy summer day.

This is the Angora corner.
Kendall (L) and Ed are chatting next to the pool.

Stewie, Ruby and Lena are having a good discussion.
