Debbie’s Beautiful T Shirt

We have seen many of Debbie's beautiful broken English Angora photos.

Got a surprise package, inside are two T-shirts.   One for Betty and one for Casey.

This is Betty's.

A close up of the graphic design.

Thank you, Debbie.   Though neither Betty nor Casey is planning on going to the convention, we are getting some convention presentation spirits.    Broken English Angora is the 5th in the order of presentation on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.  We are cheering for its success.

Harvesting Sunflower Seeds

There was a huge sunflower plant with one single sunflower grown in our veggie garden.   No one actually planted it; sprouted from being mixed in the bunny poops? Carried by squirrels? Carried by birds?  We don't know.   The flower is beautiful, and huge too.

One day we found the flower full of black sunflowers dropped to the ground, probably too heavy.

After some shaking and poking, the sunflowers seeds are harvested.

Putting the harvested sunflower seeds in the pan and roasted them, pretty tasty.

Handsome Auston

Auston just made 7 months old, a big boy now.

He is little on the shy side, sweet but shy.

It is fortunate that he made 6 months old during the final show before our area enter an extensive show hiatus, he got registered and received enough legs to be eligible for the Grand Champion status.

Auston will work hard to keep his coat in good condition to be competitive when the shows return in the winter.  Such a handsome boy all dressed up but no show to go.

Fallyn Gets a Pink Collar

Since Fallyn join Carolyn's family to be the 5th princess, she has been growing a lot.

From a little scare homeless kitten, now she is loved and pampered.

Though Fallyn has gone through all the veterinarian procedures of vaccinations, deworming, defleaing and being chipped, Carolyn still worries that Fallyn may get lost, so Carolyn buys Fallyn a collar.   Needless to say, it has to be pink.

Carolyn would like to one day train Fallyn to be on leash to take walks.

Fallyn prefers not to wear a collar but being a good girl, she accepts the collar.

Fallyn feels secure and relaxed being a princess.

Fallyn's tail is getting very fluffy, a big change from the time when she showed up at Carolyn's yard.

Power of Sunflower at Petaluma

This big sunflower is grown from one seed.   If you counted it, there are more than 30 flowers!

Next to the big sunflower plant, there is a little sign says "Sunflower Kindergarten".

There are big and small sunflower plants plus other pretty flowers.

More sunflowers.

Pretty sunflowers.

A close shot.

One can sit on the hay bales and enjoy the sunflower scenes.

Hidden Treasure at Petaluma

No more show photos, but we got some fairground photos.   At Petaluma fairgrounds, there is this little path to a secret garden.  I am not familiar with the names of all the flowers but I sure can appreciate their beauty.   Enjoy the flowers.

Sleeping Beauties

It's nice to be a show rabbit but it is even better to be a pampered pet.  Quinzanne is now one of Carolyn's princesses.   She is ready for bed.

Flower Girl also retired from shows and became a princess.

Imari is a princess from day one, getting ready for her bed time.

Then there is Fawnessa who is not just a princess, she is a queen.   A queen's bed has to be soft and pink.
