Ember Gets A Hair Cut
Ember is sitting pretty with her beautiful show coat.
Poking an opening in the middle of Ember's back, a little wool is cut off.
More wool is cut off from all sides of the opening.
Ember's body is mostly exposed.
Now you still see Ember with her wool.
Now you don't see Ember's wool and her body is hardly visible behind her fluffy head.
Where is Ember's wool? Here it is, on top of a sheet of tissue paper ready to be rolled.

There are two new Angora exhibitors in our area: Dominique and Elsa. These are two little angels who are taking very good care of their French Angora bunnies.
The two top pictures are Dominique, Elsa and judge Carol G. The third picture is Dominique and Elsa with their huge junior French Angora buck and doe. Lindsay is the breeder of these two rabbits.

Emmy Wins All Breed Best In Show at the Fair
It's the summer fair season, fun time for all sorts of animal shows including rabbit shows. We usually go to the fairs that do not require rabbits to be cooped in.
Contra Costa Fair is one of the early fairs. Randy judges the open rabbit show and youth master showman contest. Betty's chocolate tort senior doe Emmy is very fortunate to have been selected as the Best In Show. Carol G.'s handsome American Fuzzy Lop solid senior buck Brigham took Reserve In Show. French Angora and Giant Angora were both praised for their high quality. There will be photos of these beauties on the blog soon.
