Show Room at Petaluma

California Rabbit and Cavy Shows holds triple all breed shows at Petaluma, CA on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

We are back to Petaluma for a show date.  Instead of a pole barn, this time we are in a very nice building.

There aren't many venues that would satisfy the conditions of virus situations. Though this location is perfect for this weekend, it's not long the case.  We just got the words that Sonoma County is going into quarantine due to RHDV for 60 days.

Lots of happy exhibitors.

Visiting a rabbit show could be a tourist experience.

Our wool corner.

Wool exhibitors like to be close to the exit so that if necessary we could groom outdoors.

Are there beds at the corner?

Really there are beds, want to take a nap?

Yes, there are beds.  This was one of the evacuation centers for last year's big fire.  In addition to the opened beds, there are lots of these in the plastic wraps, and there are lots of plastic wrapped bottle waters behind the black evaporative cooler.   The fairgrounds are prepared to receive evacuees if necessary, but we all hope that will not be needed.

Eric's French Angora won the Best In Show at Angora (rabbit) National in TN in April, then in August, his Angora Goat won the Best In Show at the Angora (goat) National!  He is a born "Angora" winner!

The Best In Show winner is the Champion doe and this is the Champion buck.

His Angora Goat fleece won the Best Fleece competition.
Is there anything left for others to win?
