Susanna Completed Her First Round of Showing

Born in early 2020, Susanna did not have a chance to go on the show table during her junior months.   When there were shows up to the end of February, she was still a baby.  By the time she was old enough to be shown, the shows were all cancelled.   The first time she went to a shows, she was already a senior.

Without a lot of shows, Susanna still managed to win 12 legs with one all breed Best In Show and one all breed Reserve In Show.

After holding on to her coats for over a year, it's time for her to take a hiatus.

Would she like to try motherhood?  We don't know.

Brock Meanor Graduates from Law School

Remember Brock?   This is him with his gorgeous fawn doe that won youth English Angora BOB at the 2013 ARBA convention at Harrisburg, PA.   Brock was not even in high school then.

Fast forward to 2021, Brock has graduate from law school and ready to take the bar examination.
A few years ago, Brock also became an ARBA judge.  Due to law school, he had to forgo many opportunities to judge out of state.  We can now expect to see him coming west in the near future.

Waving Cats as reported by National Geographics

Betty has a waving rabbit that is modeled after the waving cat.

Carolyn has a traditional waving cat.

The maneki-neko, also known as the welcoming cat, lucky cat, money cat, happy cat, and beckoning cat, dates back to the 17th century and has since become one of the most popular features in Asian businesses.  This is a photo published in National Geographics about how the cat story started in a Japanese temple.

So what is the story of the "Waving Cat"?

Joanna Makes it on the Show Table

It has been a tough journey for Joanna in shows.

She is a very pretty doe but she also has a very pretty sister Susanna.

She was taking the second banana seat to sister Susanna in many shows, then ....

Casey's pretty girl Wynette joins the competition.

After a tough fight, Joanna finally becomes eligible for the grand champion status.

While Susanna and Wynette are ready to take a break from shows during the long hiatus, Joanna will try her best to keep her show coat.

When shows come back in July, Joanna hopes to be still able to compete.  Whether it'll be a success or not, Joanna will try her best.
