NCAG Angora Specialty Show in Orland, CA

NCAG has completed another successful specialty show with the Sierra Foothill RBA open shows in Orland today. Many members participated, a wonderful time for all.

Three photos are posted here, with more to come in the next few days. One photo shows Amy, Charlie, Lindsay and Cyndie sitting together discussing fiber matters. Another photo shows our judge Armando examining a white French Angora with Tracy helping to write comments. Armando takes a photo with the three winners when the show is completed. Betty's English Angora choc tort senior doe took Best In Show; Lindsay's white senior doe took Best of Breed French Angora, and Patti's choc chin doe took Best of Breed Satin Angora.

Holly's Handsome Boy Rue

Our Canadian member Holly has sent me some more beautiful bunny pictures. Featured here is her favorite rabbit HHR's Rue. Rue has recently won the Best of Breed in the show held in the town of Prince Albert. The judge who judged the Best In Show gave Rue an honorable mention as one of the finalists for the Best In Show.

Rue's dad is Chu's Vance. Holly got Vance from Betty a year ago. Vance went through two days of traveling to get from California to Saskatchewan, got lost when the airline sent him to a wrong destination. After 9 hours of waiting at the airport, luckily Holly finally received Vance in one piece, alive and well. He has produced many nice bunnies for Holly.

Charlie and His Winning Boy, again

Enoch did it again for his papa Charlie. They went to triple all breed shows last Sunday in Crescent City. Enoch won one Best In Show and one Reserve In Show against very tough competition. Look at the happy papa Charlie, all big smiles!

Kathy, Our Fun Loving Newsletter Editor

It seems that the Halloween has come a little early this year for our talented newsletter editor Kathy and husband Bill.

They went to Monterey Fair a couple of weeks ago and had a fun time. NCAG is known for the wonderful newsletters. Kathy has been our editor for almost 20 years, she is the reason why our newsletter has the best content and the best on time record. Very few of our members have met Kathy and Bill because they do not show. They are in the business of helping living creatures: Kathy is an animal rescue worker and Bill is a fireman. Both are big hearted and fun loving. The event in this picture was a firemen's gathering at the fair.

Amy and her American Fuzzy Lop

Amy, one of our young and pretty members, breeds and shows English Angora and American Fuzzy Lop. In the shows on Sunday, 9/4/05, she was showing the lop. She received BOB and BOS in the breed. Look at her happy and pretty face! You would not believe it, Amy is the mother of three very active boys. She usually goes to rabbit shows by herself so that her husband can spend some quality time with the boys. Amy is also our district director to the national Angora club.
