Dragon Is Coming





The Year of Rabbit is winding down, it will officially end on January 22. The Year of Dragon starts on January 23, 2012.



Dragon figurines are popping up in Asian stores.


Fish is always a sign of good luck regardless of what year it is; it symbolizes abundance.


There are abundance of Asian New Year food items in the stores.


Red and gold are the most popular colors for the Asian New Year.

Dominique And Elsa Photos by Dannie Zane

We saw professional photographer Dannie Zane's photo sessions were used for the Best In Show and Reserve In Show prizes on Saturday at the Red Bluff shows. Here are two photos that she took of Dominique and Elsa with their French Angora. These photos were displayed at Dannie's booth at Red Bluff.

Nice Prizes For Best In Show And Reserve In Show At Red Bluff





Usually the winners of Best In Show and Reserve In Show get a chair, a blanket, a carrier or a trophy as prizes in rabbit shows. On Saturday at Red Bluff, the top winners were treated to a professional photo session by Dannie Zane http://www.dzphoto.net/



Allen and "Misery" sat for the photo session by Dannie for the Best In Show prize; Misery won another Best In Show on Sunday then the Best of Best In Show at the end of the three-day show weekend.


Dannie handed Betty the framed/matted photo for her Reserve In Show win.



Judy was delighted with the framed picture of her Best In Show Mini Rex.


Austin displays the framed photo of him and his Flemish Giant on the grooming table. This prize is for the Reserve In Show win on Saturday. On Sunday the same Flemish Giant won Best In Show and Austin received a embroidery bag as the prize.
