New Judge Piper Visits CA

 
 
 
 
Judge Piper of PA is a new judge, a very young and accomplished new judge.  

Piper started raising and showing rabbits as a youth, she participated in many youth activities and was the Queen of the PA State Convention in 2007 plus a long list of youth and adult accomplishments.   She is currently an ARBA district 9 representative.

Piper arrived in CA a few days prior to the Sonoma Marin RA show at Santa Rosa; she got to do some tourist sightseeing before judging at the Santa Rosa show.   

Stephanie forever a gracious host has been showing Piper around and provides the transportation.  Pictured are judge Piper, Stephanie and Stephanie's daughter Mary.

Chu's Lucia is an English Angora young tort senior doe.  At 7-1/2 months old, she has a very fresh coat.



 
Judge Chris Z loves Lucia's type and her fresh coat and awarded her the specialty Best In Show.

In youth show A, judge Randy picks Shelby's Mini Rex as the Best In Show and Taelor's Mini Lop as the Reserve In Show.  



Judge Nate from Utah picks the Best In Show in youth show B.   Cruz's Netherland Dwarf gets the Best In Show honor and Courtney's Himalayan is the Reserve In Show.

Macey Wins Best In Show in Open Show B at Santa Rosa

 
 
 

Judge Piper from PA picks Betty's English Angora colored senior doe Chu's Macey as the Best In Show and the Reserve In Show goes to Chris Z's Holland Lop.


 


Macey is an English Angora tort senior doe; she has won all breed Best In Show in November and then Reserve In Show in December last year.  This is her first Best In Show win in 2013.

Open Show A Top Winners at Santa Rosa

 
 
 
 
Sonoma Marin Rabbit Association has been putting on rabbit shows forever.   When the old guards faded away, new group of people step in and keep the tradition going.   The SMRA show is a must-attend event for all serious show people; there are close to 20 judges and over 30 breeds in the show and the showroom is crowded with happy exhibitors.   

 In show A, judge Kevin picks the Best In Show, the big winner is Julie's beautiful Havana.
