Friends Are Forever
One of the important parts of convention is to see friends. During the MN convention, the wool grooming area was hidden in a backroom. It takes some effort for others to find the Angora people who were all busy grooming there. Josh found Betty in the grooming room and they walked out of the room to have a picture taken together. Josh is the ARBA district 6 director, lives in TN while Betty lives in CA, it's not an everyday thing to be able to see each other.

Velveteen Lop Did Not Pass The Third Presentation
For every happy presenter, there is another person who sadly failed the presentation. Mary has been working on Velveteen Lop since 1999 and passed two presentations. This is the last presentation before the Velveteen Lop could be accepted as a new breed. Unfortunately due to a very minor issue, the presentation did not pass. The sad thing is that if Mary wants to try again, she will have to wait for three years before she could once again present.

English Angora Mother And Daughter Team
Lynn and Nichole are a mother/daughter team in breeding and showing English Angora. Lynn is also the presenter of Broken English Angora while Nichole is into serious showing. Nicole won youth BOB English Angora in the ARBA convention at San Diego last year and her white won the BOV this year at MN convention.
In their "other" life, Lynn is a successful attorney; hubby Mike is very supportive of Lynn and Nichole's rabbit habit. Nichole is also quite well known in the teen model circuit, did a quite a few photo shots.

American Fuzzy Lop And Jersey Wooly At MN Convention
Though the ARBA convention in MN is already history, we still have lots of photos to share. When the local shows are on hiatus during the holiday season, these photos will remind us of the fun of the wonderful world of rabbits.
There are six wool breeds: 4 breeds of Angora and American Fuzzy Lop plus Jersey Wooly. In conventions, the wool breeds are usually cooped next to each other so that all could use the same grooming area. Next to Angora are the American Fuzzy Lop.
