Guinness Facebook Post

I was surprised to learn that the Guinness Facebook page posted Franchesca's world record on October 27, 2022.    The record was set in August 2014, announced as the lead record on the Guinness website and published book in September 2015.   It's almost felt like a lifetime ago, but so happy to see these photos again.

Carolyn’s New Kimekomi Bunny

Carolyn takes classes on the Japanese art of Kimekomi.  This is her most recent creation.

Rabbits are Carolyn's love and Kimekomi art is also Carolyn's favorite activity, what would be better than combining the two together.

It takes weeks and even month to complete such a detailed creation.

It takes patience and skill to make such a perfect Kimekomi bunny.

Casey’s Babies Ready for Their Show Careers

Casey has a beautiful English Angora litter that she treasures.

They have dipped their wool in a couple of local shows, now with the ARBA convention coming up at Reno, they will have the chance of showing off their beauties.

Bao Bao and Bei Bei Say Bye to their Nuts

Kitties Bao Bao and Bei Bei are now 6 months old, it's time for them to get you-know-what done.

Arriving at the Oak Grove Veternary Hospital in San Jose.

Unhappy kitties.

Very nervous Bao Bao on the right and Bei Bei on the left.

They are rolled into the surgery room.

I'm happy to report that they left their nuts in San Jose but keep their loving hearts in Morgan Hill.  They recover well, no side effect whatsoever.

Angora Plied with a Colored Thread

English Angora spun and plied with red novelty thread.  What does the finished garment look like?

Here is a hat using this yarn.

The completed hat comparing with the skeins of yarns.
