Dove Is A Mom

Dove is the pretty French Angora chocolate doe bred by Dawn but lives with Betty since March; she is a registered grand champion with 8 legs.

At Carol G.'s backyard show/party, Carol W.'s buck RnB had a public display of affection toward Dove.

Nature works wonders, a brief encounter of RnB and Dove produces 8 big fat bunnies.

At 3 weeks old, bunnies are active and alert; lining them up is a mission impossible.

There are one boy and two girls in this black and blue group.

Out of five broken torts, there are one boy and four girls.

Randy and Allen on Namaste Farms Blog Talk Radio

Namaste Farms Blog Talk Radio has a large following.    Every Thursday at 6 pm pacific time Natalie and her co-host put on a 2-hour long program that broadcasts to all over the world.   Betty was on the program on August 2 and had great time.   The guests of today, August 23, are our world-famous rabbit judges Randy and Allen.

Make sure to go to

to listen to the program and call in to participate today.

Randy and Allen are successful in raising Angora Goats, they recently won the champion and reserve champion in the Angora Goat National Show.

Randy and Allen are equally successful in raising rabbits.  Their Netherland Dwarf won the Group at the 2011 ARBA Convention in Indianapolis.

Needless to say, they are also our favorite judges.

Donna M and Her English Angora in TSC Magazine

The current issue of Out Here magazine has a 2-page spread on Donna and her English Angora herd in Maryland.

Out Here magazine is published by Tractor Supply Corporation; the magazine is available free for the customers of the TSC stores.   If you are going into the store this month, don't forget to pick up a copy.    If you are not able to get there, you can also read the article on line, click Out Here magazine

The cover is about the oldest working farm but it would have been a lot prettier if Donna's English Angora were on the cover.

There is a long gap between the interview was done and the magazine came out, the little baby white doe at the lower left corner in the article is now a senior doe.  Tulamore's Lotus Flower took 2nd reserve in a show in May.  In the picture are judge Wade and Donna with Tulamore's Lotus Flower.

Abigail's Granddaughter Elsa Continues Winning Tradition

Judge Susie awards 7 Pines Elsa all breed Reserve In Show at Fergus Falls, MN.   Alicia has to work on the show day, mom Deb substitutes.

7 Pines Elsa is a young French Angora doe; her grandma Abigail has won 11 all breed Best In Show within a 4-month period of time.   French Angora has longer show life than the English Angora mainly due to texture.  Regardless of the how long the show life is, Abigail's win is amazing especially that she has been a mom and a grandma.   With such good genes in her blood, Elsa will be winning in the show circuit for a long time.

Cute Young Lady in Cute Angora Hat

It's quite chilly in Monterey even though the rest of the valley is in the 90s and 100s.  Christine's mom bought her an Angora hat to fight the morning chill.   Betty made the hat as well as the scarf that she's wearing.

Angora is such a multipurpose animal: show, pet, fiber, ...
