Show A Angora Judging at Monterey





Show A judge is Lauralee Erbe.  The Englis Angoras are on the table ready for examination.  Casey is the writer.  



The CRCS shows are held just before the Monterey Fair as a joint venture.  The market rabbits were judged on Friday then the CRCS open and youth shows are judged on Saturday.  

 
This is the English Angora colored senior buck class.   Bucks are handsome but they mostly do not carry the full coats as the does.   



These are the two English Angora colored senior does.

Open Top Winners at Monterey

 


Judge Melissa Magee awards the Reserve In Show to the English Angora shown by Casey Jones.
The Best In Show is a English Lop but no photo available.




Judge Carol Green selects the English Angora shown by Casey Jones as the Best In Show, this is the same English Angora that won Reserve in show A.   This is also the same English Angora that won show B Best In Show a week ago at Petaluma.
 

 
Show B Reserve In Show is Kelly's Tan.  This is the same Tan that won two Reserve In Show a week ago at Petaluma. 



Show C judge Jordan Miner awards the Best In Show to Betty's English Angora.  This same English Angora also won Best In Show in show C at Petaluma.



And Kelly Hinde's Tan wins Reserve In Show again, picked by judge Jordan.  Kelly's Tan has won  Reserve In Show 4 times in two weekends.

It’s Griffin’s 20th Birthday!



Griffin is the show secretary.  On the show date August 27, 2022, it's Griffin's 20th birthday.  



There is a birthday cake for Griffin and lots of cupcakes for guests.

It's about the time for the Monterey Fair that starts on September 1, the Monterey Fairgounds are full of preparations. 


This big truck is parked in front of the building that houses the arcade games.  There must be lots of fun stuff inside.

English Angoras are Awesome



   In the California Rabbit and Cavy Shows July 31 triple shows, an English Angora doe won 2 BIS and 1 RIS; then in the California Rabbit and Cavy Shows August 20 triple shows, two English Angora does won 2 BIS.   This past Saturday in the California Rabbit and Cavy Shows August 27 triple shows, two English Angora does are making splashes again!   



Casey's English Angora tort doe Casey's Violet is doing great, receives Reserve In Show from judge Melissa Magee.  




Casey's Violet goes on to win Best In Show from judge Carol Green.  




Betty's English Angora tort doe Chu's Augustina wins the Best In Show from judge Jordan Miner in show C.

Three weekends and 9 shows, Betty and Casey's English Angora does won Best In Show 6 times and  Reserve In Show 2 times.  Aren't the English Angora awesome?
