Two Young Rising Stars

Allen and Wade are like brothers though one lives in CA and the other lives in MO. They try hard to get together and to hang out. Last week, Wade flew in to judge shows at Red Bluff and Santa Barbara. Look at these two happy faces.

Other than being the best of friends, they also have something in common: they were both Group judges in the convention and the rabbit they each picked went on to win Best In Show.

In the convention, each exhibitor gets one vote for the Best In Show and Group judges. The judge receives the highest vote gets to pick Best In Show out of the four Group winners. The next four highest vote getters each judge a Group.

Allen was voted in to judge youth Group 3 and Wade was voted in to judge open Group 3. Allen picked a Havana as the youth group 3 winner and this Havana went on to win youth Best In Show. Wade picked a Belgian Hare as the open Group 3 winner and this Belgian Hare went on to win open Best In Show.

It can be considered as a coincidence; or it can also show that both young men are regarded very highly among the exhibitors and both have good eyes in picking the best rabbits.

Dead Or Alive?

Christina's Fuzzy Lop plays dead on the turn table, spectators are amazed.

You are talking about me? I had a good relaxation!

On Saturday morning at Red Bluff, Christina was getting her Fuzzy Lops ready for the show table. One of them got so relaxed that it went to sleep on the grooming turn table with all four feet up in the air. It lasted several minutes and people were amazed and amused.

Finally Christina woke it up to continue the grooming.
