Horse Apron?

Got an apron from a BIS win a few years ago.   Aqua blue, very pretty, ...

Saw a picture of this horse blanket that looks so much like that BIS apron.  Aqua blue and very pretty.   Got to say that the horse wore this "apron" much better than the human.

Grateful Pets

During this difficult time, the human and animal medical personnel are extra hard at work.    On the FB page at UC Davis animal clinic, pets express their gratitude.     And you may find this face familiar, that's Princess Fawnessa.

A Cute Table Runner

I received a very cute table runner as a gift from my friend April.   Even though April is more into English Angora than French Angora, she said it was just too cute to pass up.   The size of the runner is 14" x 72", with a French Angora on both ends.

Pretty Broken Chestnut English Angora Girl

Isn't this a pretty broken English Angora?   Debbie is a member on the COD team presenting the broken English Angora.  Even with all the uncertainty, the preparation still goes on.

This will be one of the presentation senior does.   She has great type and wool, it'll be the right age at the convention for the senior class.

She has strong ear carriage with the right color; pattern wise she has symmetric butterflies and the correct combination of the white and chestnut color on the body.   It's perfection!

Glorious Wisteria and Busy Bees

Wisteria loves spring.

Warm temperature plus spring rain nurture wisteria.

Bees work overtime to get the nectars from the flowers.

This huge black bee makes loud humming noise and grabs the flowers tight, bumblebee? Or ???

Another close up of this black bee, the size is about three to four times of the regular honey bee.   There are several of these humming around.

A side view of the wisteria and the bird of paradise.

The view from the other side.

The opposite side from the bird of paradise.

Arlo Sports a Summer Hair Do

Pattee is fairly new in rabbits, she started having one English Angora in 2019 and have been doing really well.  Arlo even wins BOB at the California State Convention.

With Summer coming and with the "Shelter-in-Place" order, there's no show for months and months.   Arlo gets a hair cut.

Arlo feels so relaxed with this short cut during these warm days.

Snowy Ice Gets a Pineapple Cut

Snowy Ice is handsome white buck born in September.    He is fairly young and starting his show coat in the spring.   He does well and accumulated 7 legs with potential of many more.     The shelter-in-place order shut down all the shows over a month ago, his show career came into a screeching stop.

After a month of grooming and grooming without any expectation of going back to shows, Snowy Ice gets a hair cut.

It's a shame to let go of such a nice coat, but ….

… the wool will be great for spinning.

Pineapple in the making.

Doesn't it look like a side view of a pineapple?

A big fluffy head, where is the body?

This is Snowy Ice's new pineapple look.
